Caitlin Galeotti

For those of you who don't know me, I grew up in a small town on the shoreline in Connecticut. I enjoyed living by the beach, but I am a city girl at heart. I can't wait to live on a bustling street in the beautiful burrow of Brooklyn, New York, where my family was born and raised.

I am an undergraduate student at Roger Williams University graduating in 2014. I am majoring in media communications with a public relations concentration. I am minoring in my favorite hobby and passion, digital photography, along with E-Business and Marketing.

As a young public relations professional, I joined Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) my sophomore year, when I decided PR was what I wanted to do. RWU has the only chapter in Rhode Island. I have been privledged enough to attend PRSA/PRSSA conferences with my chapter as well as other various networking events. As an in-going senior, I am happy to share that for my final year as a PRSSA member before transitioning to PRSA, I am RWU's Chapter President.

I look forward to becoming a public relations professional, working in the real world, while maintaining my photography hobby and passion and living close to family and friends in the city.

I have had internships with an in-house consumer PR team, a non-profit in-house team, a public affairs and government relations agency, and am currently interning at a FORTUNE 1000 company doing in-house corporate PR.
