Everyone has a story. We entertain ourselves, make decisions, form opinions and inform each other through stories. The telling of these stories is paramount to our success as a society and the news, vital to a functioning electorate. And even though the journalism landscape is changing, the fundamental craft still centers around truth and accuracy; virtues I learned growing up on Long Island, NY and that I’ve carried across the country with me to hold at the center of my storytelling.
