The recipient of a bachelor's degree in English and business administration from the University of South Carolina, Caleb Fort began his career as a sales manager for the Anheuser-Busch distributor DuBard Inc. and helped it achieve silver ambassador status for the first time ever. Three years later, Caleb Fort began working as co-chairman of The Merit Group, where he helped facilitate geographic expansion and identified strategic acquisition opportunities for the middle market supplier to the commercial and residential paint industry. He currently serves as president of QMX Mobile Health, which provides on-site imaging and diagnostic services for assisted living facilities and nursing homes throughout North Carolina.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Caleb Fort is a regular supporter of nonprofit and civic organizations in the Carolinas. He is a past president on the SC Governor's School of Science and Mathematics Foundation and is an advisory board member of the Carolina Alliance Bank. In the past, Mr. Fort has held board positions with the Investment Committee of The Spartanburg County Foundation, The United Way of Piedmont, the South Carolina Historical Society, and The Arts Partnership of Spartanburg. Additionally, Mr. Fort has served as a board member for the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce, the SC Chamber of Commerce, as a Trustee for Converse College, and as a Chairman of the Board of the Board of Trustees of Coker College. Mr. Fort graduated Leadership Spartanburg in 1997, and is a SC Liberty Fellow, class of 2007.
