Cameron Tygett

A prior combat cargo assistant with the United States Marine Corps at Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia, Cameron Tygett oversaw the loading and offloading of more than 280 vehicles and 400 pieces of cargo equipment aboard as US Naval vessel. Cameron Tygett served in this capacity for three years, during which time he increased the process efficiency by 25 percent.
Prior to being stationed in Virginia, Cameron Tygett was a landing support detachment chief at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. During two years in this role, he coordinated and supervised the training and operations of more than a dozen Marines in a variety of drills ranging from railhead operations to external lift resupply missions. Earlier, as an armory chief, he conducted a monthly inventory of a weapons armory that had more than $2.4 million worth of equipment.
Mr. Tygett has received several accolades during his 14-year military career. In 2014, he earned the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for facilitating the safe and efficient embarkation and debarkation of more than 700 foreign military personnel and 460 short tons of cargo while aboard the U.S.S. Arlington. He has also earned multiple Certificates of Commendations while serving as a landing support specialist.
