Who am I... I'm an 'Insightful Expeditor': Direct and Decide.

My working background is varied but follows the same base theme of being very capable at organising projects, events and people to the best outcome of all concerned. Though for the last eight years I have been working as an independent graphic website designer and developer.

Currently I am working for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) as an iBooks Project Coordinator. This involves coordinating and liaising with cutting edge technological, multiple disciplinary, international teams both on and off shore to develop and produce educational iBooks with interactive widgets specifically in relation to Science & Maths for the K9 through K12 e-learning American school system. Ensuring scheduled deliverables for project/s hit deadlines within stringent timelines and maintaining excellent quality.

Recently I’ve completed an extensive year developing project co-ordination skills, specifically in the User Centred Design process (UCD) including scrum agile, for software applications and interactive websites. This included:

- Establishing requirements, Requirements specification, needs analysis,

- Solution design, evaluation, user cases, personas,

- Mock-ups, wireframes, prototyping (in PowerPoint),

- Client documentation, product definition, design documentation, status reports, scrum

As part of a major industry project I was highly successful as project coordinator for the project manager, as well as content team leader and overall team liaison and documenter of reports and minutes. This included communicating with our client, preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations at the different stages of the project.
