Caroline Crotty is an accredited psychotherapist based in Cork, Ireland. She provides professional counselling and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents who are experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional difficulties and relationship challenges. Therapy sessions are available in person at South Terrace Medical Centre, Infirmary Road, Cork and online across Ireland.

Caroline has been working as a psychotherapist since 2010. She is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her clinical work focuses on helping people understand patterns in thoughts, feelings and behaviour that contribute to anxiety, stress and psychological distress. Counselling and psychotherapy provide a confidential space to explore these experiences and develop practical ways to manage them.

Many people attend therapy when they feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in unhelpful patterns. Psychotherapy can support emotional regulation, improve confidence, strengthen relationships, and help people respond more effectively to difficult situations.

Caroline works with clients who experience anxiety, stress, work-related pressure, relationship difficulties and challenges with attention or concentration. Her counselling approach focuses on increasing psychological awareness and developing practical strategies that support long-term wellbeing.

Alongside her counselling and psychotherapy practice in Cork, Caroline also delivers mental health talks, workshops and educational programmes across Ireland. She provides workshops for schools, businesses, healthcare and education professionals and parent groups. These talks focus on understanding common psychological experiences and developing practical skills for communication, emotional regulation, and wellbeing.

Workshop and talk topics include:

Parenting and communication with children
Talking to children and adolescents about relationships and sexuality
Managing anger, stress, anxiety, and self-doubt
Emotional regulation and psychological wellbeing
Psychology in everyday life
Communication skills for workplaces
Mental health education for schools and organisations
