Carri Bugbee is an internationally recognized expert in social media marketing with 20+ years’ experience in public relations, marketing, advertising and writing. She works with startups and big brands alike, helping them integrate new marketing technologies (martech) and processes with traditional marketing activities and iterate on rapidly changing best practices (via agile methodologies when possible).

She directs campaigns, projects and teams in content creation, social media, press and influencer outreach, advertising, special events (real or virtual), mobile app promotions and more.

Carri has presented social media marketing strategies at conferences and events around the world, including the AllFacebook Expo, Social Media Week Toronto (keynote), Nordic Game, The Cool Twitter Conference (keynote), SXSWi, O’Reilly Twitter Bootcamp, 2nd Screen Summit, OMMA Global and more.

As an adjunct professor at Portland State University, Carri taught social media marketing for 2.5 years and she continues to do guest lectures at other universities. She has also provided training for marketing teams, executives, government agencies and nonprofits.
