Sports medicine physician Dr. Casey Batten is the director of primary care sports medicine at Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles and the lead medical team physician of the Los Angeles Rams. A widely published researcher and respected teacher of sports medicine, Dr. Casey Batten has made presentations to the, NFL Physicians Society, Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Batten earned his undergraduate degree with honors in kinesiology and exercise science from the University of Wisconsin. He went on to medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, after which he completed his residency at the University of Tennessee, Department of Family Medicine, and later his clinical fellowship in sports medicine at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Casey Batten began his career as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by serving as the Head Team Physician at the University of California, Berkeley, before settling into his current position at Kerlan Jobe.
