Our head Mr. Oberhelman earned a bachelor degree in finance from Millikin University. He has joined the Caterpillar treasury department in the year 1975 and has worked upon variety of business projects across the company. He was elected vice president and chief financial officer in 1995, and became a group president in 2002 with responsibility for Caterpillar’s engine and power systems businesses. During his work, he has lived in North America, South America and Asia. In October 2009, Doug Oberhelman was named vice chairman and CEO-elect of Caterpillar and immediately began to develop the company’s future strategic plan.
