Catherine Louise Annis

Sacramento, California

My mission:

  • Being of service to others as I journey through life.
  • Being willing to pay the price for success in honest effort.
  • Basing my expectations of reward on a solid foundation of service rendered.
  • Keeping a good grip on the joys of life, so I may be courteous to others, faithful to friends, and true to the Universe.

A California native, I was born and raised around the Bay Area, including Concord, Walnut Creek, Oakland, and San Francisco. I moved to the Philippines and later moved to Singapore where I created a franchise of successful retail shops. After living overseas for 17 years, I returned to Sacramento and jumpstarted an amazing real estate career.

Since 2001, I’ve been a licensed, full-time real estate professional. In 2010 I took a short break and worked on the Carnival Cruise Line, but I’m back to doing what I love. Today, in addition to being a 24/7 agent, I enjoy teaching Realtors how to use technology to benefit their businesses and I am an official LYON MENTOR to newly licensed agents. I’ve helped hundreds of people reach their real estate goals. Hear them rave about my level of service by reading a few TESTIMONIALS.

Even when I was little I loved real estate. My version of playing house was to make a sign and put our playhouse (and forts and treehouse) up for sale! The big game in our family (besides football) was Monopoly, and I bet this is where I learned to be such a tough negotiator. Dad taught me to go after whatever I want, the difference between right and wrong and the value of honesty.

Outside of work, my three daughters are my pride and joy. Selene is a nurse at the VA Hospital in Dayton, OH, and the mother of my two adorable grandchildren. My other two girls live in San Francisco: Shannon, who went to UC Berkeley on a full academic scholarship and now travels the world working for Google; and my little Megan, an SFSU grad working as an archivist for Wells Fargo and a freelance photographer extraordinaire!

In my free time, I enjoy anything to do with technology, and am an avid reader, whether it’s for pleasure and or education. I also love riding my bicycle, public speaking, giving free advice, and climbing trees. Well not anymore, but I dream of someday living in a state-of-the-art treehouse.

I’ve led an interesting life and I’m grateful everyday! Thanks for taking the time to know me better!
