Catherine Okafor

My name is Catherine Okafor and by day I'm a journalism student studying in North Carolina and in my spare time I work towards social justice. I'm the founder of a female empowerment day camp (W.I.S.E. Girls Women Inspiring Success and Empowering Girls). The mission is to empower and inspire young females and teach them about topics such as body image, self-esteem/self-confidence, life goals/dreams, health & fitness and more. The camp is a day filled with workshops dealing with the topics that I mentioned as well as fun activities.
