Christopher Ryan Denton 26, was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, Chris was born to Dale Denton and Dolores Sherwood and is the eldest of four children. After graduating high school Chris began his career as a volunteer fire fighter with the Centre Township Fire Department. Upon his arrival to Chicagoland/NorthWest Indiana, Chris was inspired by the directorial and visionary stylings of Stephen K. Munsey, (Family Christian Center), Chris began the process of “coming out of his shell.” Under the direction of Winter Dojcinovski, (Artistic Director, Refuge Productions), Chris has been one of the finest actors in the region for over 5 years. Christopher’s first speaking role, was Jacob Marley in the Broadway Style Musical “Scrooge” (2006-2011). On stage, Chris has done everything from portraying one of the little pigs in the childrens classic “The Three Little Pigs” to a starring role in the Broadway Style production of “The Passion,” entitled “Jesus of Nazareth” (2007-2011). Chris served as a artistic liaison as well as a lead actor in a 3D film short re-enacting the creation and ascension, entitled “HisStory 3D.” And appeared as an extra in the blockbuster Vince Vaughn movie, “The Dilemma.” As an acting coach for Refuge Productions Inc. Chris has started several young aspiring actors on the path to sucessful careers in stage and film. Christopher’s latest projects include: The stage production “Let Freedom Ring” (2011) and acting seminar, The Shine Event (AMTC) at the Gaylord Palms Resort, Orlando, Florida (2011).
