Cerrissa Fitz CPT, YFS
Cerrissa has always been an athlete and began her love of health and fitness at a young age. Her first foray into fitness was studying martial arts (8 years) Throughout her middle school and high school years she was on softball, volleyball, track&field, dance, and basketball teams. At the collegiate level she played Division 1 Volleyball and Rugby while attending Lafayette College. After her first few years of teaching kindergarten at Holy Trinity School she went back to school to become a Certified Personal Trainer and Youth Fitness Specialist with certifications from both the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the International Sports Science Association. She began working for Washington Sports Clubs as a trainer and instructor for HIIT Classes (high intensity interval training). While focusing on fitness she realized not only did she miss working with children but there was a need for the reinvention of standard fitness programs at schools. She currently works in the Holy Trinity School Athletic Department helping to bring Health and Fitness to the foreground.
