Chamsi Dib

Chamsi Dib has worked at Canada Newswire as Senior Photo Editor and is now working as a freelance photographer in Morocco.

She has studied communication, cinema and photography; receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University in 2007, (Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema)

Chamsi’s prime photographic interests are in portraiture, social documentary and public events. She has exhibited at the Festival du Monde Arabe in Montreal in 2007 and her photos have been published online in the Voir journal, the amateur section of Reuters Photos and on the CNW Newswire. She has also worked as an assistant for Leda & St-Jacques and as a photographer for Magenta Studio Photo.

She is currently exposing a picture on the Canal Lachine (Atwater Market) until summer 2015.

Chamsi recently moved to Casablanca, Morocco, to pursue her photographic journey.
