Charlie Walsh is an accomplished Organizational & Leadership Development professional with 45 years of achievements in the design, development, and delivery of Organizational & Leadership Development Programs. Recognized internationally as a leader in the field of Organizational and Leadership Development, Charlie currently serves as Managing Director for HOPS International LLC. Charie is also the Co-Founder & Managing Director of The International Center for Organizational & Leadership Excellence. Charlie also serves as Senior Associate Partner with the Employer's Association Forum of Florida with direct responsibility for Organizational & Leadership Development, Management & Supervisory Training & Development programs.
An internationally recognized Trainer and OD Practitioner, Charlie served as Sr. Facilitator in designing and delivering a series of executive-level Leadership & Democracy Capacity Building and Organizational Change Management Programs for the new Government of South Sudan. Working with colleagues in the US State Department and Agency for International Development Charlie personally trained over 1,350 senior level leaders in South Sudan including Central Government Ministries and State Governors.
From 2000 – 2005, Charlie completed delivery of 14 21-day residential Senior Leadership Development Programs for the U.S. State Department's Agency for International Development training over 1250. executive level Foreign Service officers representing 36 different nations. Additional international achievements include Organizational & Leadership Development initiatives for US and foreign
leadership in Sudan, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Morocco, Kenya, and Brazil.
International private sector clients include a variety of organizations in the manufacturing, hospitality, education, and OD Consulting industries in the countries of Brazil, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Kenya, France, Canada, South Africa, and Finland. Charlie recently participated in focused team discussions with the US President's Transition Team (2009) sharing his expertise on issues and future directions for US work in the countries of Sudan, Zimbabwe, and Bangladesh. Charlie also participated in an international forum on democracy leadership building in late 2011. Charlie is a prior winner of the Price-Waterhouse Up & Comers Award of Excellence in Education.
