Charles Williams

My name is Charles Alexander Williams III. Most people call me Charles. I’m a young man living in the city of Toronto. I have lived in the city most of my life. I’m a student at Ryerson University, studying media in the RTA New Media program. I currently work part-time while I’m in school along with some passion projects on the side. My interests are film, design, business, travel, UX design, and storytelling.

I have many goals for the future. I would like to eventually create my own long-running animated television series. In addition, I would like to create my own community center for young people in order to help guide the youth in this confusing age where they are constantly bombarded by social media from every angle. I also have several ideas for apps that I would like to see to fruition.

Currently, in my life, I like to make sure I am always working on myself and furthering my goals.

I read every day, exercise, work in school, and go to work. I am currently learning about how to tell good stories with compelling character arcs and world-building. My method for daily success is waking up early, reading, planning my goals, exercising, and learning something new every day.

In five years I see myself probably working a job within the media industry while working on my various side hustles. Hopefully, I will be financially stable. I would like to have most of the planning and writing done for my animated television series so that I can pitch it to a television company or streaming service. Lastly, I hope that I can (with the help of the city of Toronto) begin plans to build and fund my community center.
