I am a pre-service Educator trained from the University of Johannesburg, a fitness instructor and an ICT support role specialist currently living in 30-38 Claim street, Johannesburg. My interests range from technology to science. I am also interested in fitness, movies, and reading.

My Identity as an ICT support role specialist:

I always loved anything that have to do with technology. I also was lucky enough because I was able to do Computer Applications Technology from high school as a subject from grade 10-12. Having ICT support role specialist as a major in my B. Ed course was a bonus as well. What was very interesting was that I already had competent knowledge with regards to CAT content and during the past years I only had to master the pedagogical knowledge together with the PCK on how to best teach the CAT subject together with my role as the ICT support role specialist within the school premises. During my Work Integrated Learning (WIL) from first year until now, I have learnt a lot about all the roles that should be played by the ICT support specialist. At first I just oberseved my mentors, teach learners the CAT subject, I also assisted as an administrator of the school ICT management system during my third year WIL before the pandemic, I was also a mediator of learning using smartboards in innovative ways to cater for individual learner needs. I am also able toeffectively communicate using a variety of technologies to advance teaching and learning with my learners using platforms such as Google classroom, WhatsApp etc. I am also an interpreter and designer of innovative learning programmes and materials using educational technologies.
