Fatou Kamara

I am a 35 year old nanny from The Gambia who has cared for children from newborn to 14 years old. I hold a current infant and adult CPR certification, a comprehensive background check, and valid California driver’s license. I have excellent childcare and character references.

I have a bachelor’s degree in English and am completing a BS in Computer Science at SF State University. I come with a wealth of childcare knowledge, tremendous energy and an exceptional awareness of raising kids in an urban environment.

I am currently working with a family in the SoMa neighborhood in San Francisco. I prepare fresh vegan infant to toddler baby recipes and often cook my Gambian recipes for the family. I am city-savvy and know all of the best kid-friendly activities around the city. I take my current charge to weekly toddler music classes, mommy-and-me meet ups, and sing/play groups in the neighborhood. I also take the train once per week for baby and mommy to have lunch together while she is at work.
