I’m Cheryl. I’m a registered nurse and clinical resource leader in the Emergency Department of a large community hospital. I am is passionate about health promotion and health education. My years of experience and expertise in Emergency Medicine allowed me to be one of the first voices in the GTA to lead Ebola education and training to healthcare professionals and community members through workshops, summits, television and radio interviews. From this work I was awarded the Friends of Africa Humanitarian award. I am completing my masters in nursing. I am also the president of the charitable organization Community Unity Alliance.
