During his early years in education, Chris Bugbee was able to get into the Alternative Route to Certification (ARC) program. This was an eight-week program in Connecticut that enabled people in other careers to quickly obtain teaching certification. After a few years, he pursued further studies at the Central Connecticut State University where he received his Master’s and subsequently his Sixth Year Degree. This enabled him to obtain an Administrative Certification. In 2018, Chris Bugbee left the public school sector to establish the CT Homeschool Center, which offers six to eight-week courses in all subject areas to further enhance the experience of homeschooled students.
