An extensively experienced sales leader in the enterprise software market, Chris Pliha serves as a Southwest US regional sales director for Workday, Inc., in Irvine, California. He supervises eight quota-bound account executives in the sale of Workday’s enterprise application services. Having guided the team to fulfill the fiscal 2015 annual plan, he is responsible for growing Workday’s client base throughout the region, Chris Pliha directs his team’s focus on sales to developing businesses across all commercial sectors.

Early in his career, Mr. Pliha worked as an account executive for iteration2 and executed the sale of Microsoft Dynamics to mid-market companies in Arizona and Southern California. He received numerous honors during his tenure with iteration2, including distinction as a Top 5 Certified Account Executive in the United States for fiscal 2006.

In his subsequent role as an application sales manager for a global computer technology corporation, Chris Pliha marketed a suite of enterprise applications to mid-market and large clients in Southern California. He continued with the corporation as a Western US regional sales manager and oversaw a team that sold customer relations management and customer experience management services to major service industry businesses.

A longtime California resident, Mr. Pliha attended Corona del Mar High School and helped the varsity volleyball team win the 1989 California Interscholastic Federation Championship. He went on to play volleyball at UCLA, where he completed a BA in political science.
