A high-end construction manager who helps guide Flower Construction, Chris Schabacker has overseen numerous bespoke New York-area projects for private clients that resulted in one-of-a-kind estates and residences. Engaging closely with architects, Chris Schabacker ensures that plans meet tight budget and scheduling requirements, and writes and negotiates prime contracts for team members.
Representative projects that Mr. Schabacker has guided to completion include the ground up construction of a single family, $14.1 million East 80th Street Manhattan townhouse. The formal, traditional townhouse was envisioned with an interior that incorporated English walnut millwork throughout.
Mr. Schabacker has also overseen gut renovations such as that of a jewel box apartment with an ultra-modern design that incorporated extensive glass, steel, and architectural concrete finishes. He additionally managed the restoration of Grace Church, a National Historic Landmark in New York. A longtime tennis enthusiast, Chris Schabacker won the US Tennis Association’s 40+ national championship at the 3.0 level.
