Christian Comair

An expert in environmental engineering, Lebanese-Canadian national Christian Comair benefits from a wealth of experience managing large-scale public works projects. Professor Comair has spearheaded the creation of wastewater treatment plants, water supply infrastructure, marine works, turnkey construction projects and renovation projects, as well as participating in numerous environmental impact assessments of hydraulic projects.

With extensive experience of managing works procedures, quality control and directing teams in multi-site projects, Kristian Comair is adept at organising and conducting coordination meetings with contractors and acting authorities, liaising with the public and providing technical assistance in all hydraulics issues.

As the indirect owner of Qatar-based GET Contracting Company, Christian Comair leads a company committed to providing a comprehensive selection of groundbreaking engineering services covering everything from landscaping, marine works and facility management to fit out, MEP and infrastructure. GET Contracting Company has been proud to participate in many turnkey projects over the years, including overseeing the restoration of Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah Castle at Al Rayan, a restoration project covering a vast 32,400-square-metre built-up area. In addition, GET Contracting Company also spearheaded the basalt tiling of Souk Wakif, an ambitious scheme covering an 80,000-square-metre area.

Prior to establishing GET Contracting Company in 2005, Christian Comair held numerous other roles with prestigious construction companies. Between 1994 and 2000, he worked for ENB Ltd Consulting Engineers in Lebanon, overseeing the initial phase of the National Emergency Recovery Program. He also supervised water and wastewater improvement works in the caza of Saida, a $5 million development scheme financed by the Arab Development Fund.
