I am an interfaith activist and scribbler of commentary on faith, identity, community and global citizenship at www.christinasafiyah.wordpress.com. Though currently based in New York, I obtained my Masters in Global Politics from a London university which could pass as the real-life "Hogwarts." Hence, my tastebuds fight daily to decide whether they prefer a proper English 'cuppa' or a mug o' joe that'll put hair on your chest. If I'm not busy with community service work or writing, I am usually crocheting, cooking up a storm or reading anything and everything from The Economist to Cómo Agua Para Chocolate.
