Before building a career in healthcare operations, Christopher Knaff graduated with a bachelor of science in business from West Chester University. He subsequently secured certification in 1995 from the Pennsylvania Department of Health as an emergency medical technician (EMT). That same year, Christopher Knaff became a director of EMS operations at Main Line Health.

As director of EMS operations, Christopher Knaff implemented new billing, dispatch, and communications software that shortened the processing of claims by three days and achieved a 30 percent improvement in on-time unit performance. His success in the role led to a position as director of Main Line Health’s Lankenau Pain Center, where he quadrupled the number of annual patient visits within three years. He went on to serve as a system director at Main Line Health, reporting directly to the senior vice president for administration.

After transitioning away from Main Line Health in 2018, Christopher Knaff accepted a position with a not-for-profit transportation services organization. Still working with this organization today, he specializes in network development.
