Chuck Taft Asheville

Chuck Taft Asheville is a conductor and music director in Western North Carolina. Equally enthusiastic about sacred and secular music, Chuck brings energy and joy to his work both in and out of the church, facilitating personal and musical growth among his project partners, while deftly navigating conflict to achieve positive outcomes. Chuck Taft Asheville strives to practice the principle of People over Process in a positive, possibility-filled environment. Chuck received his Master of Music degree in 2018. Chuck Taft Asheville's research specifically focused on the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical impacts of choral participation on an aging population.
