Randy Nader
Randy Nader made a name for himself in several facets of the entertainment industry, having launched several successful companies, including Nader Group International, Carbide Records and Aren Communications.
A one-time professional actor, Nader was appointed Executive Assistant to entertainment industry giant Norman Lear. There, Nader was involved with films such as "Stand By Me" and "Princess Bride," which were produced by Lear's then newly created conglomerate Act III Communications as well as his involvement with People For The American Way and Lear’s Democratic campaigning.
Nader made his first inroads into the music industry in 1992, joining McGhan Radio Productions as an Associate Producer and then was elevated to Executive Producer. He produced live radio remotes from Los Angeles and New York in conjunction with major events such as the American Music Awards, the Country Music Awards, The Howard Stern Show and the Grammy Awards. McGhan Radio Production, interviewed over 100 major celebrities a week for its shows, broadcast via 15 major stations with a combined audience of more than 30 million live listeners daily. As a producer, Nader was involved with every popular music format and worked with a broad range of artists from Little Richard and Michael Bolton to Lou Reed to Ned Beatty, and personalities from Howard Stern to Dr. Ruth Westheimer.
In 1993 Nader developed and launched Nader Group International (NGI), a photo syndication and photographer/journalist management company. From its inception, NGI had capitalized on the entertainment industry's untapped niche markets, including the teen and soap opera markets and as well as high visibility in the rock music world. NGI's world-wide photo syndication network serves Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia, Canada, South America, Baltic Countries as well as the United States. The management arm of NGI represented a select group of known album cover and record company publicity photographers who have done photo and publicity sessions for Rod Stewart, Sting, REM, Leann Rimes, Nirvana, The Cranberries, The Beastie Boys, Marilyn Manson, Tevin Campbell, Britney Spears and numerous other artists. NGI added Marcel Anders a leading music journalist to its representation in 1996, when it began syndicating celebrity interviews worldwide.
