Things have changed and I've ridden the rollercoaster of life for the past six months. My neck, after some treatment and PT is fine. Not my legs. It's such a long story, but I ended up with a suspicious mammogram. An outpatient surgical biopsy showed it to be nothing. That was a relief, my mother died from breast cancer. Shortly after that my husband had surgery and his turned out to be cancer. It seems like they got it all and we could start to heal - both of us. Then my legs, which are prone to lymphedema and stasis dermatitis, decided to throw me another curve ball. Well, the left leg did. It seems overnight I had six open wounds. I've been told it was probably due to stress as much as anything else. So I am spending a good amount of time in the wound center and with a home health nurse. That is the short of it. Sorry for my prolonged absence right after I got here.
