Jatin Parveen

Hi, I'm Jatin, a filmmaker who scuttles between Delhi and Mumbai for work and for food.

I graduated from SRFTI majoring in Screenwriting and Direction. Yes, we all know a fancy film degree doesn’t mean much, but I will have you know that I can write, photograph, direct, edit, and run a tight production unit. I love getting down and dirty with my team, and have made short films with my excellent fellow film students on campus, many of whom share my love for movies and taste in film. One of them likes Tommy Wiseau's Room but we tolerate him because he can edit like hell and god knows if there is anyone that keeps a film from becoming a trainwreck it’s the editors, even if no one wants to acknowledge that. They’re like the bassists to rock bands.

My primary interest is films that explore the human condition. Often when I am working, I think, “what would Werner Herzog think of this?”

I have recently finished my latest script ‘Ittar’ for a short film and am looking for a producer.
