My QIDP is a consulting services for small and large ICF/IDD programs in Texas. The organization provides behavior management training, behavior management plans, CPR training, Directed In-service Training (DIT), and other services related to the ICF/IID programs across Texas. Clinton S. Thomas, Th.D. has coordinated services as a QIDP for small six bed facilities and large facilities up to seventy-five residents. Clinton has also published two free e-books on My QIDP’s website. A Short Look at Rosa’s Law and What it Changes is a short e-book on the law that helped remove the use of the term “Mental Retardation” from state and federal programs. Introduction to the Human Rights Committee has recently been updated and serves as a guide for community members of the Specialty Constituted Committee. Clinton also developed the ARC Training, known as Access, Restrain, Contain for non-aggressive interventions for aggressive behaviors from individuals living in the ICF/IID setting.
