Clinton Lucky
My name is Clinton James Lucky, but I go by C.J.
I am cuurently in college and in my last year at GCC and will be transferring to ASU's W.P. Carey School of business next Fall. While at ASU I will be earning my Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, with a minor in Bussiness Sustainability. I am someone who is always on time, as I feel it is important that people can count on me to be there when I tell them I will be there. I am loyal to any company I work for, and will not just up and leave a job for what may seem like a better deal. Currently I work at Accurate Mailing Services in Phoenix, AZ where I have been since November of 2006, processing business mail primarily for advertising. The company has been through some tough times due to the economy, but I have stuck through it, though I have had other job offers, because the company and the people there have always treated me with respect and we have become a family over the years. It is time, however, for me to leave the manual labor job as I need to gain experience in a field more in tune with what I am going to school for. I am a fast learner, especially when I am learning hands on. I am also a good listener and am able to talk through things with people when the situation calls for it. Customer service is another area I feel I excel in, as customer service to me is the number one reason people choose to contnue working with the company they have chosen. I keep a clean work area and am extremely organized, as I feel this helps work get done more effectively and efficiently. One area I do feel I need work in is that of in office communication. This doesn't mean I am not able to listen and talk about the job itself, however, I am not the best at confrontational situations as I am a bit of a pacifist. I am working on that though, and am learning that if I have a problem with someone or something in the workplace, it is much better to talk about it than it is to stew over it. I thank you for taking the time to read this and hope that you will not hesitate to ask me about anything else, either professionally or personally, that I may have neglected to put on here.
