Tony Thornby
I have been an internet marketing specialist since 2005 with the personal vision of providing the best value advice and support in Thames Valley on business use of the web. Initially focussed on Google visibility : Since 2009, I have integrated this with social technology.
I have been delivering talks on internet marketing since 2007 - including joint seminars with Bucks New University's consultancy department, being a guest social media speaker in a Chartered Institute of Marketing course run by the University and a presenter in the University's annual Enterprise Festival.
I also regularly gives internet marketing talks to various business networking groups in Thames Valley. My social technology expertise was further recognised by Bucks New University when they invited me to be a paid mentor to relevant startup businesses in their government funded Open4Business programme.
As a chartered engineer, I'm skilled in innovation, the implementation of viable processes and measured iteration. Building on my masters degree in management science, I had a long successful previous career in senior management roles in the corporate telecommunications industry: This has provided me with substantial education and expertise in training, managing change and customer satisfaction. The application of these skills and experience to the provision of internet consultancy is my differentiator.
I've been a follower of Scott Klososky's social technology teaching since 2010 - a 12 step process based business focussed approach to online social activity. Before the end of 2012, I plan to be certified to deliver Scott's teaching and enterprise level processes to medium sized companies and small corporates in the Thames Valley.
