Connie Watts

Omaha, NE

It’s a great feeling to wake up every morning and know that I have the best job in the world! Each day I have the pleasure of helping home sellers & buyers find and purchase their dream home.

I’m a full time residential Realtor and have been for eight years. Omaha and the surrounding communities are very familiar to me because I was born and raised here. I specialize in move up buyers & sellers as well as families relocating to the area.

I have a Master’s Degree in Management from Bellevue University and worked as a Human Resource & Safety manager for ten years prior to real estate.

On a personal note, I am a newlywed! My husband and I dated briefly in college and have been close friends ever since. I like to tease him and tell him “Took you long enough”!

I am Mom to two rescue dogs and am very passionate about animal rescue. Hearts United for Animals is the charity that near and dear to my heart and I volunteer doing home visits for prospective adopters.

Most evenings I can be found geeking on the computer because I am a social media/technology/SEO/blogging junkie! I love learning and finding ways to work smarter not harder. It’s incredibly addictive!

My other passion is bicycle riding. Three years ago, I took up riding to lose weight. I’m now 40 pounds lighter and the bicycling bug has stayed with me. Once the weather warms up, I can be found on the local bike trails at least 4-6+ hours a week. Last year, a wrist injury prevented me from riding Ragbrai so this year, it's getting ticked off my bucket list.

As for something that most people don’t know about me, I am a living kidney donor. I gifted my left kidney to my cousin on December 7, 2008 and am happy to report, it's still going strong. It’s a pretty cool story how that came about so ask me, I’d love to share.
