I am a BSc International Horticulture student at Nottingham Trent University.

Since starting at Trent I have engaged in a range of projects and internships to increase my understanding and abilities within a variety of areas, from Horticulture through business, social enterprise and Journalism.

This exploration opened me to the range and severity of problems people are facing on a global scale.

I am a highly motivated social entrepreneur. After extra research in global food security the facts about the current situation, such as most apples on the shelf being 11 months old, left me baffled, sparking multiple ideas for change.

I have continued with my studies and gained as varied experience as possible, whilst conducting my own trials and research in sustainable crop production and setting up an Enactus project to benefit the destitute community in Nottingham.
