Corey Ford

Corey Ford who is known as "Styles by Him," has developed a fan base for his innovative hairstyles. Corey has devoted his career to the art of hair and transforming lives with his gifted hands.

A native of Baytown, TX Corey was raised in single-parent household overcoming many obstacles and discovered his passion for hair being an at home stylist for family and friends for several years.

While in Cosmetology school Corey was cast by The Oprah Winfrey network, (OWN) to be part of the reality Docu-Series "Houston Beauty" where he received notoriety for his passion for hair and fiery personality. Shortly after the series ended Corey graduated from Franklin Beauty College, a 98 year old long standing Beauty School in Houston, Tx.

As a licensed stylist, Corey quickly established clientele and is known for treating hair with love so that it can grow remain healthy and manageable.

In 2013, Corey was featured in Houston Style Magazine for his work and contribution to "Houston Beauty." He also recieved mentorship from celebrity stylist & Wig Master, Terrance Davidson and BRAVO's Real Housewives of Atlanta, Derek J.

Corey is actively involved in his church, charity work and helping families in need. He has contributed his hair services and donated to organizations providing hair services to single parent households and displaced individuals. Corey is a celebrity contributor to The Saving Our Daughters foundation, an organization dedicated to the self improvement and esteem growth of young girls.

Currently, Corey services clients in Houston, TX and travels to national awards shows as a freestyle stylist. In the future, Corey aspires to work as a platform artist, Brand Ambassador and educator.

Several publications and media outlets have featured "Houston Beauty" such as Houston Style Magazine, Houston Chronicle, OK! Magazine, Black America Web, uptown Magazine and several radio outlets.
