Courtney Lake is the writer behind the design & lifestyle blog Courtney Out Loud. He spent 10 years in high-tech event marketing before shifting his focus to pursue his love of food, fashion and design. In 2010, he launched Courtney Out Loud as a platform to showcase his work and quickly found his niche writing funny, witty stories about his DIY adventures in trying to create high-style designs for his new home in Oakland,CA on a shoestring budget.

Courtney is currently working on launching his own lifestyle business focusing on residential design and event planning.
