Craig Schoenfeld Iowa

With a background in political consulting totaling more than 20 years, Craig Schoenfeld of Des Moines, Iowa, currently performs as a political strategist and campaign manager through his company, Prairie Lawn Consulting, LLC. As principal, president, and CEO, his specialties include all facets of political management and outreach strategies. Craig Schoenfeld comes to his current role backed by experience as director of government relations for Whitaker Strategy Group, where he held responsibility for organizing Iowa state legislative lobbying efforts and developing political strategies for clients.

In the previous presidential election cycle, the political consultant also held prominent state leadership roles on the campaigns of such high-profile candidates as Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich. Further, he served from 1999 to 2000 as caucus planning director on George W. Bush’s Iowa campaign.

In preparation for his career, Craig Schoenfeld earned a bachelor of arts in communications and political science from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Subsequently gaining admittance to Drake University, he went on to secure two graduate degrees, a master of arts in mass communication and a juris doctor.
