Craig Farrington

I began my life in Scotland. When I was 5 years old in 1963 and my family came to live in Nassau as my Dad & Mom had met & married in Scotland & my Dad had then came home to work as a Doctor in the Princess Margaret Hospital . My Mother was a nurse.

I went to Queens College until I was 11 then I went to 2 boarding schools in Scotland , Clifton hall& Rannoch.

In 1976 I came back to Nassau – I worked for a few years then when my Mom & Brother came up to Victoria to live I went to Bahamas Hotel Training College to graduate in 1983 with an associates in Travel & Tourism studies.

I lived & worked in Nassau for another 9 years then I came up to Victoria to live with my Scottish/Canadian family – so I am now both a Bahamian & a Canadian citizen.

In Nassau besides working on Paradise island in hotels I also worked in Majestic tours,Kentucky fried chicken) and John bull (a higher end store).

Unluckily I am now on BC disability as my epilepsy took a bad turn beginning a few years before I left the Bahamas I was overdosed on medication because my Dr. at that time should have been giving me blood tests for my medication (which I did not know what at that time) but as he was dying he forgot .Now the epilepsy is so-so BUT I have Ataxia (damage to my cerebellum responsible for your balance & speech & more…) caused by the overdose of medication which affects my balance & my speech is slurred & slower than average.

I have been operating a website now for about 6-7 years - It is about Victoria where I now live.

It was originally started to make extra income as the disability money that we get from the government is very little and not enough to live on BUT it has not lived up to any of its expectations as I know many people who make $5-$15,000 per month just operating 1 or 2 websites.
