Christine Crozier

Christine Crozier's oil paintings are noted for their loose, expressionist, brushwork and rich colors. Her award-winning landscape, floral, and figurative paintings have attracted collectors throughout North America, Europe and the South Pacific.

"Art is always a work in progress. My greatest joy is the constant process of exploration and discovery that creating art requires. I especially love painting figures in the landscape. The light and movement of the landscape is contrasted with figures lost in though, unaware of, or indifferent to being observed.”

As well as painting fine art oils, Christine has owned and run Crozier Studios, a decorative arts and mural company, for over 30 years. She is a founding member of the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters' Association (MBPAPA) and served two terms as president of MBPAPA. She is a member of the Carmel Art Association, is currently on the board of the Association, and has served on the board of the Carmel Art Festival, a Plein-Air competition.

Her current work can be seen in California at the Carmel Art Association, in downtown Carmel and LyonsHead Gallery in Carmel Valley Village.
