Extensive background in Information Technology and IT Service Management (ITSM), Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise/Solution Architecture, both as an entrepreneur and corporate professional.
I have worked with and within IT organizations of varying sizes, and have been involved with and focused on IT Service Management over the past twenty years (before ITIL or MOF were heard of). I earned my ITIL® Service Manager Certificate in 2004 and ITIL® v3 Foundations Certificate in 2008. Recently, I received MOF v4.0 and ITIL v3 Expert certifications. I have published articles and columns in various industry journals and have presented at various industry tradeshows on: ITIL®/ITSM, Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Management and Design, and BPM.
I am President of the Ohio Valley itSMF USA Local Interest Group. Prior to joining Microsoft, I was responsible for leading and contributing to many successful customer projects, developing and leveraging intellectual property (IP) for reuse in customer engagements. This also involved supporting business acquisition activities. I have held various IT Director and Technology Management as well as individual contributor positions with past employers.
