DEAR SON, is a novice book series written by Authors Omai Kofi and her son Dasani Coffee. The first of this series is entitled: DEAR SON, "I Cannot Show You How To Be A Man, But I Can Teach You How To Treat A Woman" This book takes you upon an intimate real-life account of a conversation between a mother and her son about The Single-Parent Dilema as it relates to children involved to. Emphasis upon a single, adoptive, foster, step, grand what this book has deemed "Special-Parent" circumstance, is highlighted as a simple conversation. Our children have a say so in their upbringing and this book is not a voice for them, yet an ear. When you are able to hear, you are able to take action, this intimate book series is a conversation which has done just that. We are not here to challenge or ridicule dead-beat and missing parents, we are only here to discuss positive communication and resolution to life's many facets when it comes to childhood and parenthood alike. Dasani Coffee is a 10 year old aspiring Scientist who resides in Dallas, TX with his Mother, Omai Kofi. His room has become a small lab and he is always intrigued with nature, research, and of course playing video games! Dasani always says, "I am going to invent something that is going to save the world." Everyday he has done just that, as his life is an example of salvation. Dasani was in a drowning accident at 2 years old, he was revived to life without any waters in his lungs, almost genetically, his mother too was in a drowning accident at 2 years old and their connection far surpasses any travels in this life, but they work together to create a perspicacious legacy. Dasani has been featrued in TLC's hit new show "Outrageous Kid Parties", has done some modeling and been an extra in a few films.

Omai Kofi, "The Idea" is a 33 year old Texas born star who currently resides in Dallas, TX. Kofi is a multimedia womanpreneur. At a very young age her son Dasani told her, "Mommy, a writer's job is never done", and she takes pride in her Authorship. She continues to write and now hosts Presidents of the world on her own multimedia show: The Omai Kofi Show. Omai has a habit of unity and is obtaining her Ph.D. in Philosophy.
