Christopher Michaels
Christopher Michaels began his DJ career in 1978 and like many of today’s DJs, Chris was digging in his pop’s crates long before he had his own. Since his father was a DJ, it’s probably fair to say that’s where he developed his love for real old school classics. Chris developed his skills of moving effortlessly between diverse musical styles while holding down a residency at one of Toronto’s first urban nightclubs. After taking a six-year hiatus, Chris returned to the Toronto DJ scene in 1995, and quickly made a mark for himself. While rocking classic hotspots Fluid & Studio 69, he caught the attention of Canada’s first urban station and was invited to be a part of the Flow family.
