Demario Tucker is a born and raised Detroiter. He graduated within the Detroit Public School system. It was there, that he developed an interest in the field of engineering. Demario went on to pursue his interest and graduated from Wayne State University within the School of Engineering with an emphasis in Mechanical.

Upon graduating, Demario was hired as a Mechanical Maintenance Manager at United States Steel Corporation where he led all maintenance planning and designing within the Cold Mill Tandem Unit. After a year of employment with United States Steel, Demario developed a growing interest within the field of energy, particularly within the realm of energy business. This interest led him to pursue a Masters in Science degree in Global Energy Management at the University of Colorado. The M.Sc. in Global Energy Management was designed to educate future leaders in global energy management within the realms of energy business, energy economics, energy politics and energy law in order to support management succession for the energy industry worldwide.

After graduating, Demario joined Tenaris Corporation (a major supplier of oil & gas steel pipe) as a Mechanical Engineer in Houston, Texas. Within Tenaris, Demario is directly responsible for supporting capital improvement projects, analyzing downtime and reliability, designing and redesigning equipment, process improvements, troubleshooting equipment, training employees, handling procedures , implementing maintenance cultural change, and handling contractor negotiations. Demario also was selected to lead the Global Energy Managment initaive within the U.S. Texas region. This initiative will significantly reduce energy consumption within one of Tenaris' largest U.S. facilities.

Currently Demario is embarking on finalizing his formal education credentials with the pursuit of a Masters in Engineering degree in the field of Mining Engineering. A key field that bridges both Steel and Energy sectors together. Demario realizes that as undeveloped countries such as China and India continues to grow, the mining and mineral industries will increase in importance within the global markets.

Demario has aspirations to become a top executive within the energy and steel industries, while simultaneously being a global consultant.
