Daas are the only Belgium style beers produced in Belgium to be certified organic by the UK Soil Assoc, Daas Organic beers are NOT lagers but “Top fermented bottle conditioned beers.” This means that the beer is naturally fermented for a second time in the bottle, in a similar way to the production of Champagne. A bottle-conditioned beer will still taste superb many months after the pasteurised equivalent (Lager) has become un-drinkable.

Our beers are the result of a 5-year journey in which our aim was to first put to market an organic beer not like our competitors but to stand out from the rest of the crowd not only in its superior taste but also in the product design and inevitably being the best Gluten Free beer on the market.

Our brewery is based in the agriculturally rich area of Wallonne in Belgium just out side the city of Tournai, we grow our own Barley in our farms and is one of the last 17 remaining Abbaye breweries in Belgium. Our Ambre beer was voted 'best organic gluten free beer in the UK' at the Free From Awards 2012 and can now sit along normal ales and hold its head up in pubs, plus our beers are also Vegan, Vegetarian we do not use Isinglass (fish bladder) to clarify our beers.

Our beers originally were just organic are now Gluten Free (Blond and Ambre), this is the result of a long research process using a technology which we have recently developed. Our de-glutenisation process extracts the gluten from the beers ensures the consumer still tastes the very best of the quality hops and malted barley we use, other Gluten Free beers are made using Rice, Corn or Sorghum 'not ours' hence our beers taste of BEER.

The de-glutenisation process is revolutionary and now Coeliac suffers who were told not to drink proper beer can now once again drink proper beer. Daas are hand crafted beers using the finest locally famed ingredients, we believe that using hops and barley that are grown without pesticides and chemical fertilizers makes our beers delicious and more appetizing, both for you and for the planet.
