Dalectables is an idea that I keep on the back-burner, not investing my time in it, yet not ready to nix it completely.

As much as I love cooking and sharing my food, (and receiving the "oohs and aahs"), I also love writing and sharing my stories of my experiences and life in its mundane and not so boring way.

My sense of humour and my always-ready-smile are part and parcel of who I am and the basis of my joie de vivre. All that and hopefully my sincerity shines through too!

My dream of going to Tuscany finally became a reality in September, 2016, and was everything I had hoped and dreamed it would be, and then some. What has this momentous experience done? It has fueled the fire and desire to travel more and experience different cultures in depth.

Next destination? Provence!
