Dame Dillion
Artist, Musician, and Writer in Oxon Hill, Maryland
Damien "Dame Dillion" Thorne was born June 28, 1988 at Harbor Hospital
in Baltimore, MD. Raised in the inner city, Dame grew up in poverty,
which led him to writing about the things he would see in those urban
environments. At age ten, Dame wrote and recited his first rhyme for
his grandfather's birthday party. After seeing the audience's positive
reception, Dame knew, then, that making music is what he wanted to do
for the rest of his life.
After years of recording mixtapes and performing at open mics in
Maryland, Dame relocated to Bronx, NY in 2010 where he would link with
Feevaleo and the Silent Order (S.O.) movement. After being in New York
City, Dame expanded his brand/horizon by doing shows there, as well as
networking with many people in the industry. This list would include
Smoke DZA, 4 Fun Mob, A$AP Mob, Aristotle, By Any Means and more.
Dame's music represents the struggle, and he has four mixtapes to date
("It's Curtains," "Miracle in the Making," "I Believe in Miracles,"
and "Silence of the Grams"). In due time, the world will take notice
and witness what hard work and patience can do.
