The foundation of this book came from situations that I have personally been through; and also, covers the life stories of others that have confided in me to tell their stories. I feel that it will give a voice to those carrying these stories in their memories; but, don't want to speak on it. It will give others a sense of not feeling alone and that things sometimes happen to you. This is also to let others know they are not the only ones going through these situations.

It shows that whether you're young or old, everyone has a story. Some stories are good, some bad and some even worse than others. Some people lock their stories up inside of them. They are afraid of their feelings and what might happen if they told someone else. In most cases, their story will help others in similar situations, and help them get out of the situation; or possibly, not get in the situation at all. The best person to get the advice from is the person that has gone through the same thing. You know the saying, “Been there, done that”. They have gone through what you are about to go through or what you are going through and maybe what you have been through yourself.

I feel that if people can change their way of travel by reading these stories, then it’s well worth it. Everyone is different in their own way; but, there are a lot of people going through some crazy stuff in this thing we call ‘Life’. I think that I am the best person to tell these stories because I keep it ruff, rugged and raw. I don't sugar coat it. I am very direct. As a lot of other writers are; writers like, Michael Baisden, Steve Harvey and Zane; it's time for Travis Lewis to come out with his book. I have seen a lot, done a lot. Boy, I have had my shares of ups and downs; but, I’m still here trying to get to the next level.
