N. Daniel Timon

Oromocto, New Brunswick

I grew up in Paris, Ontario in the South end fascinated by what went on behind the fence of the Sewage Treatment Plant. All the equipment, splashng water and security fence drew me in. Upon returning from a two year volunteer position with my church after high school I enrolled in Engineering at U of Windsor. Two years later I was married with one child and needed to complete my education a little faster and so chose to turn my sights on Fanshawe College and Environmental Technology.

After graduation I took a job in Prince Edward Island as a Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator for Agrawest Foods Ltd. One year later I found myself drawn to the Canadian Forces by the prospect of a better wage, overseas deployments, and an ever increasing skill set.

13 years later I find myself ready for the next stage in my life and would prefer to move back home and reunite with my family in Ontario having been stationed in New Brunswick for 12 of those years and Northern Quebec for one. I have been on two overseas tours in Haiti and Afghanistan and on Artic operation in Eureka, NU. Time to turn my sights homeward and see more of my family.
