Dan Call Music (DCM) was founded in 2009 by songwriter/musician Dan Call. It's goals are to develop and promote artists, songwriters, and bands in the DCM/Staryard Songs roster through writing, recording, management, and song placement in TV and film. The current roster includes: The Villains (Toucan Cove/ Universal Republic Records) thevillainsband.com Big Trouble (Retrospect Records/BFM Digital) reverbnation.com/bigtrouble1990 Swagger (DCM Records/BFM Digital) myspace.com/SWAGGER About Dan Call - As a songwriter, Dan has had the pleasure of working with A-list writers such as Stan Lynch (Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Don Henley, The Eagles), Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan), Richard Feldman (Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker), Josh Leo (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alabama), James House (Dwight Yoakum, Martina McBride) as well as many others. He's also written for TV, film, and NASCAR. As a bass player and musician, Dan has toured the world with many artists and bands in rock and country over the years. He has also recorded with producers such as Stan Lynch, Brent Maher, and Butch Walker just to name a few. Currently, Dan is a member of the RockRidgeMusic/Warner Bros act, The Villains. Their first release, 2010's Just Another Saturday Night, yielded two Triple A charting singles, 'Let's Forget About It Tonight' and 'You Don't Have To Say', both written by Dan and Peter Stroud. The record was a critical success and the band toured opening for Blues Traveler and Sister Hazel through the end of the year. Their next record, 'Velocity', will be released summer 2011 with a tour to follow. 'Velocity' was produced by Stan Lynch, Billy Chapin, and mixed by John Kurzweg. Dan currently resides in Atlanta and New York City.
