Dan Neumeister

Before launching his career as a health care executive, Dan Neumeister received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University. After completing his undergraduate studies at San Diego State, he went on to pursue a Master of Healthcare Administration with an emphasis in Finance at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Neumeister also gained valuable work experience while studying for his Master's degree, spending a year as an Administrative Resident at Grossmont District Hospital.

After earning his Master's degree, Dan Neumeister became an Administrative Assistant at Grossmont District Hospital, where he oversaw several construction projects and regulatory compliance programs. Three years later, Neumeister joined the Salinas Valley Memorial District Hospital as its Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he helped transform the 229-bed facility into a regional referral center, a move that expanded the company's net revenue to over $100 million. Neumeister also spearheaded the development of a cardiac catheterization lab service and an open-heart surgery program, growing the hospital's open-heart surgery volume to 250 cases per year.

Following a four-year stint as Vice President of Sales for Baxter Healthcare, Inc., Dan Neumeister became the System Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Enloe Medical Center, a 391-bed regional non-profit medical center. During his time with Enloe Medical Center, he managed an $8 million turnaround, which restored the hospital's financial strength; the center has remained profitable for the past four years.

Today, Dan Neumeister serves as the Principal of Neumeister Healthcare Management Services, a consulting firm that provides leadership and direction to healthcare institutions of several different sizes.
